Born Again Butterfly Magnet Craft 

John 3:3

(Compare the stages of a butterfly to the

stages of one changing after he receives Jesus.)



  • Butterfly Template (Printable version-1 Butterfly) (6 butterflies)  (9 butterflies)
  • 2 Foam Sheets with Peel Off Back-(2 different colors)
  • Markers
  • Hole Punch
  • Magnetic Tape
  • Small Clothes Pin (in office supply of Walmart)


Draw a butterfly on your foam sheet.

(Just make an X and give it a smile. You will have a butterfly in a little while.)

Cut it out. Peel only the center off the back and stick to clothes pin.

Punch holes out of other foam sheet with hole punch. 

Peel and stick those little circles on butterfly.

Draw designs on butterfly with marker.

Cut strip of Magnetic Tape the length of clothes pin and stick on.
